On May 17, 2007, in Washington D.C., The Secure Borders, Economic Opportunity and Immigration Reform Act of 2007 was introduced in the U.S. Congress.  This bill was introduced by a bi-partisan group of Senators.  Present where Senators Saxby Chambliss, (R-GA), Lindsey Graham (R-SC),  Edward Kennedy (D-MA),  John Kyl (R-AZ), Mel Martinez (R-FL) and Arlen Specter (R-PA).This bill is a good first step in getting comprehensive immigration reform done this year.
